Manchester Casino Hosts Pink Friday for Breast Cancer Awareness

On Friday 30th October, the Grosvenor Casino in Salford, in association with Spa Medica, Avon and Insanity beauty, is hosting a pamper evening dedicated to all things pink. The event, in support of Breast Cancer UK, will include topless male waiters and stalls ranging from beauty to lingerie, inspiring women to get involved with the cause.

From 7pm, guests are welcome to come and get involved in a whole host of activities at their local Casino. Guests will be greeted upon arrival with a glass of champagne, and can go on to indulge in a range of beauty stalls to pamper themselves to perfection. Waiters will be mingling amongst them to serve canapés while they sample a selection of wines courtesy of Bibendum Wines. A live performance from drag queens will also raise the stakes on the night.

Entry is free on the night, allowing guests to casually peruse the stalls, as well as take part in Poker lessons, so that they can learn to play like a professional. A fun raffle will give visitors the opportunity to win a fantastic array of gifts, with all of the funds raised going to help support Breast Cancer UK.

Breast Cancer Awareness is asking people all across the country to wear pink this month, and think about the 125 people diagnosed with breast cancer each day in the UK. Money raised from events such as this, goes directly to help the diagnosis and treatment of cancer across the UK.

Kerry Parkes, Sales & Events Manager of the Grosvenor Casino in Salford said: "We are really looking forward to holding this event for such a worthwhile cause. It will be a great way for local people to enjoy themselves in indulgent activities whilst contributing to such an important charity."

A spokesperson at Breast Cancer UK said: "We a very thankful to the Grosvenor Casino in Salford for their continued support and fundraising efforts. Events such as these help us to continue working in to treatments and cures for breast cancer, so it great to see people getting involved to help."
