Important changes to deposit limits
Prior to now, daily/ weekly/ monthly deposit limit(s) simply prevented you from depositing more than you stated you wished to over a rolling 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. From 6th September, this has been replaced with a net deposit limit. Whilst your specified deposit limit value has been retained, the way it’s calculated has changed.
Your new net deposit limit is calculated as the difference between deposits and withdrawals. For example, if you have a set limit of £20, deposit £20 and then withdraw £15, your net deposit amount would be £5, enabling you to deposit up to £15 more before your limit is reached. Your specified limits set a cap on your net deposits each day, week or month. Your daily/ weekly/ monthly limits will also automatically reset on a rolling 24-hr/ 7-day/ 30-day period.
When we made these changes, we had to reset limit periods for some players. This means any deposits already made were no longer counted towards deposit limits. For example, a player with a weekly limit of £20 who had already deposited £5 would still have been able to deposit £20 for the week following the changes.
As a result of these changes, we’d highly recommend that you review your current deposit limit to make sure your online play with Grosvenor Casinos stays fun and affordable. You can do this from the Cashier or Safer Gambling Hub.
