Betting and Grand National Odds for 2020

The richest Steeplechase in the world takes place on Saturday 4th April as 40 runners line up in search of Grand National glory and a share of the £1 million prize money.

The experts at Grosvenor Sport will be on-hand throughout the build-up to the race, with insightful Grand National tips and in-depth analysis of the Grand National odds, helping you to make sense of the 40-strong field.

Last year’s race saw Gordon Elliott-trained Tiger Roll defend his crown to win the world’s greatest steeplechase for the second year in a row. With odds of 4/1, Tiger Roll was triumphantly ridden by jockey Davy Russell, bringing home £561,300 of prize money. In second place, beating 66/1 odds, was Magic of Light. Ridden by jockey Paddy Kennedy, a sweet runner up victory was claimed by trainer Jessie Harrington, taking the £211,100 purse.

Can Tiger Roll become the first runner since Red Rum in 1973 & 74 to claim back-to-back Grand National wins, for the third time in a row? If the Irish thoroughbred can manage the feat, it’ll also give Gigginstown House Stud their fourth Grand National winner since 2016.
